Ski/Snowboard

Il vous suffira de 10 minutes en voiture depuis l’hôtel pour rejoindre Le Châble, départ des remontées mécaniques donnant accès au domaine skiable de Verbier/4Vallées. Du Châble, les télécabines vous emmèneront du côté de Verbier ou de Bruson en quelques minutes. Le domaine des 4 Vallées est le plus grand domaine skiable de Suisse avec plus de 410km de pistes pour tous niveaux. La diversité du terrain de Verbier est inégalée. Le Mont-Fort culminant à 3'330m et ses itinéraires hors-piste en font un terrain de jeu idéal pour tous les amateurs de freeride.

Héliski

Notre dispose d’une place d’envol et d’atterrissage pour hélicoptère permettant de découvrir et de pratiquer l’héliski. Unique en Valais, après le petit-déjeuner, les clients ont la possibilité de décoller directement depuis l’hôtel pour une expérience magique en montagne. De décembre à mai, si vous êtes en bonne condition physique et que vous skiez dans toutes les neiges laissez tenter par une expérience unique. Téléski du Dzora

Une piste de ski de 400m se trouvent à 100m de l'hôtel. Skieurs débutants et confirmés, amateurs de luge ou de bob, tous pourront s’éclater sur la piste du Dzora. Téléski gratuit pour tous !

Ski de fond

La région de Verbier/Val de Bagnes dispose de 3 parcours très variés. Deux pistes se trouvent dans la vallée à quelques minutes en voiture de l’hôtel. La dernière se trouve sur le domaine skiable de Verbier à une altitude de 2200m et offre un panorama grandiose !

• Champsec (alt. 900m) une boucle de 5 km dans la vallée de Bagnes à 2.5 km de Lourtier.
• Plamproz (alt. 1375m), boucle de 5 km à l’intérieur de la zone protégée du Haut Val de Bagnes à 4 km de Lourtier.
• Ruinettes – la Chaux (alt. 2200m), boucle de 5 km avec un panorama sur le massif des Combins. Télécabine depuis le Châble.

Ski de randonnée

Le Val de Bagnes promet de belles randonnées "peau de phoque". Itinéraires possibles au départ de l’hôtel et pour d’autres balades, les remontées mécaniques vous permettent de raccourcir le dénivelé. Quelques idées d’itinéraires pour vos sorties :

• Cabane Brunet (facile / 2h-3h / 1000m de dénivelé + depuis l’hôtel ou 800m depuis La Barmasse)
• Mont Rogneux (difficile / 5h-6h / 2000m de dénivelé + depuis l’hôtel ou 1800m depuis La Barmasse)
• Sarreyer - La Chaux (intermédiaire / 2h-3h / 1000m de dénivelé +)
• Gentianes – Rosablanche* (difficile / 3h au départ des Gentianes / 850m de dénivelé +) *accompagnement d’un guide de montagne recommandé

Raquettes à neige

Des itinéraires balisés sont accessibles au départ de l’hôtel. Pour découvrir des endroits vierges et plus reculés, nous vous orientons volontiers vers un guide de randonnée.

Cascade de glace

Avec ses nombreuses cascades de glace naturelles, la région propose des ascensions inoubliables! Mention spéciale pour la cascade artificielle de Fionnay. Autres cascades dans le Val de Bagnes: La Barmasse, Sovereu, Bocheresse, Giétroz.

Escalade

En cas de mauvais temps, pourquoi ne pas pratiquer l’escalade en intérieur. Situé à 30 minutes en voiture de l’hôtel, la salle de Saxon offre le plus haut mur de grimpe indoor de Suisse ! Infos : www.vertic-halle.ch

Mountain Bike

The Verbier and Val de Bagnes area represents a unique playground when it comes to mountain biking. Start from the Hotel, go and explore with your guide the many enduro and cross country trails. Recreational park, skatepark & pumptrack in Le Châble

The new recreational infrastructure is a few minutes from the station and the ski lifts of Le Châble. A skatepark of 630m2, a pump track of 350m2, an evolutionary playground of 300m2, an urban training course of 100m2 and 110m2 of meeting area ideal for families and bike, skateboard, rollerblade and scooters lovers. Hiking

Set off a journey of discovery of a region field with character by hiking some more than 500km of signposted paths. From themed paths for all to hikes taking place over several days, everyone will enjoy the natural and cultural wealth of these places. Seek advice to the owers, they will be happy to assist you.

Bisses (ancient waterways)

Bisses are the historic irrigation channels of the Valais. A bisse is an open ditch delivering priceless water from mountain streams – often by daring routes – to arid pastures and fields, vineyards and orchards. Many bisses are still in use today and so are carefully maintained. Numerous trails accompany these historic watercourses, inviting visitors to varied hikes on historic trails.

Via Ferrata in the Mauvoisin Gorge

The Via Ferrata leads beneath the Mauvoisin dam, through the depths hollowed out by the waters of the rocky Dranse Gorge. The first part "Saxifrage" starts at the picnic area and leads into the Dranse Gorge. From there, via a first small suspension bridge you make your way to the other side. This part has been classified with level of difficulty K3 (quite difficult) and is designed for children of minimum eight years of age. The second part, "Tichodrome" requires a good physical condition and certainly a good head for heights. Here much more concentration and effort is required. Via Ferrate des Gorges de Mauvoisin.

Climbing wall at the hotel

The hotel's facade features a climbing wall with a height of 12m offering 3 different routes. Equipment available for guests. Ideal for children.

As well as being a family business shaped by the many generations who have run it, the Hôtel & Spa La Vallée*** is one of the oldest accommodations of the Bagnes Valley and Verbier area. The first documents recording its activities as guest house and restaurant date back to 1893. In 1901, it was transformed into a hotel and then, after a fire, was converted into apartments. In 1954, the Michellod Family takes over the bar-restaurant and becomes in 1961 the owner of the whole building. The property is then extended, renovated, regaining its original function of hotel and café-restaurant and is run for over 30 years by the Michellod Family. Since 1995, the hotel has been taken over by the Pellissier Family (namely, the daughter and son-in-law of the Michellod Family). Again, they renovated and adapted the building to current needs: every room is decorated in a different style and has a private bathroom, TV/radio and wifi.

The hotel offers an all-inclusive service for your stay in the mountains. Once you are there, just forget about everything else and enjoy your holiday! For you, the owners take care to book restaurants, taxis, ski instructors, mountain guides as well as sporty activities, cultural visits, wine tastings, local products discoveries, etc. They know a lot of great places to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You can also rely on them to get valuable advice on ski days, hiking or biking trails in the area; they will be more than happy to spend a few minutes with you to prepare your next adventure!
